Exploring the Boundaries of Science: Research on the Edge
This year we are dedicating our gathering and the theme of our day to the memory of Dr. Maya Bhatia, who spoke so eloquently about her work last year at our event. Dr. Bhatia lost her life during a tragic accident while conducting field research on a glacier in the high arctic in August 2023. Thus, the theme for this year's event reflects that scientific research and development can be perilous and that scientists often work in risky or dangerous environments.
Speakers for this event will be announced soon by email and on our Facebook and Instagram Pages, but you can register now. Last year the event sold out!
Date: May 10, 2024
Time: 8:30 - 3:30
Cost: $75
