Energy Camp 2012

Energy Camp is a joint initiative between the University of Alberta and Educator Norway to provide opportunities for 60 Norwegian youth, 14/15 years of age, to learn more about global energy issues, technology, climate change and environment.  As part of this initiative, the Department of Secondary Education is looking to secure funding for two undergraduatestudents to assist with camp instruction while gaining international teaching experience in a non-traditional field setting.  Applicants are asked to submit a one-page essay, briefly explaining their interest in the project, the skills and experience they bring and why they wish to participate.  Applications must be made prior to May 1, 2012 and can be left at the Secondary Education office room (Room 347, Education South.
