CMASTE is one of the many outreach organizations that support mathematics and science education for K-12 classsrooms. Alberta Ingenuity

Alberta Ingenuity is a major supporter of mathematics and science education in Alberta. The program that CMASTE is partnering with Alberta Ingenuity is that of having teachers write individual lessons that reflect ongoing research in AI research centres. This development project is administered by CMASTE--including the advertising for and selection of teachers. The teachers spend a month or more in an Alberta Ingenuity research centre where they gather information relevant to Alberta curriculum outcomes. CRYSTAL Alberta

CRYSTAL Alberta is one of five NSERC science and mathematics education research centres across Canada. NSERC is the federal Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council. CRYSTAL Alberta is the national centre for the CRYSTAL program. CRYSTAL is an acronym for Centre for Research in Youth Science Teaching and Learning. The NSERC CRYSTAL program is a five-year pilot program that will be evaluated to see if it will continue as an NSERC initiative. The education research program specific to CRYSTAL Alberta is that of
